Reference check protocol.
Is there a standard of protocol for you gentleman as there is for us ladies?
I ask this becasue lately I have received a number of appointment requests indicating the desire to send me an approval email from a previously visited provider. I also recently had a gentleman send a provider a copy of an email that I sent him.
In this "fantasy world" where discretion is paramount, sharing emails dosn't sound like the "ideal" thing to do. Is this a regular practice among the majority or is a few far in between that chose to offer private and personal information?
We ladies have our own protocol for screening and reference checks. However I do wonder about the protocol of you gents. Anyone care to shed a little light on this one?
