Greenies only seem to care if it makes environmental sense, not if it also makes economic sense

Granted, up until just recently, industry ONLY really cared if it made economic sense without giving due consideration to environmental effects (for the most part). I don't mind the pendulum swinging to the middle where BOTH are considered, but I certainly don't want the emphasis to be on environmental sense with economic sense getting the short stick.

A blanket statement of lowering emissions 80% seems to be doing just that; "Damn the economic torpedos, full environmental speed ahead" .... LOL.

THAT is MOI concern.

From everything I've read, even those who support the greening of America acknowledge that there will be some economic cost, especially in competing against a world (particualrly China and India) that isn't playing by the same rules.

RAP

PS: In addition, reducing emissions may be for nothing despite what some think about "Gore-bull Warming" .... BEEP BEEP.
