But there IS a difference with Moore & Sheehan
Personally, I'd like to get rid of both Pelosi AND Reid. However, with Moore & Sheehan, comparing them to Lame-baugh and Hannity is a red-herring.
Sheehan is merely a willing pawn in the vitriolic anti-war no matter what movement. She might have had real influence, but couldn't see past her own anger & blew her chance, marginalizing herself in the process. Moore HAS had some influence, but not steady. Except when he comes out with a new movie (documentary is stretching it) he's little more than a name to be cited - usually by the GOP. He's certainly no leader in Democratic politics. I don't recall seeing him even in the "cheap seats" at the Dems most recent convention.
OTOH, Limbaugh and Hannity are faithfully listened to by tens of millions of conservatives daily. They DO influence their side of the aisle, and to some degree help set the agenda. Many a true player and/or power broker in the GOP pays attention to what these guys are saying. Do you really believe the power players in the Democratic Party keep regualar tabs on Moore and Sheehan? I don't think so, and I doubt you do either.
