"Game Change" ?

The HBO production/movie. No discussion here yet ? Just watched it Monday eve. David Horsey's commentary (attached link)in LA Times fairly well summarizes my take.

Consistent with most reviews, artistically I thought Julianne Moore (as Palin) was simply outstanding (perhaps the best performance of her career ?); and, that both Harrelson (as Steve Schmidt) & Ed Harris (as McCain) delivered highly commendable performances.

Senator McCain was portrayed (I thought) as a genuine "American Hero", who (in accepting the analysis afforded by his advisers - emphasized by Harrelson/Schmidt) was faced with a bit of a Hobson's Choice (when selecting Palin as VP running mate). Though for very practical/political reasons, I doubt he (McCain)will ever publicly admit (least not while politically active), I suspect (privately) he would acknowledge (if he watched it - which he states he will not) that portrayal as reasonably accurate depiction of the events.

No doubt many here will disagree. So, let's hear it ? L.
