As we clamor on about deficits and debt, currently we (US) spend $150B/yr on....diabetes (obesity a significant contributor)alone. Then consider the contribution to myriad of other health problems of obesity (with more than 17% of current adolescents "obese")? Yet, seems politically tabu to address the matter directly. By any standard epidemiological measure...an epidemic. L.
