An act of genius or lunacy?

Obongo came out today and stated that he supports same sex marriage even though he was against it 4 years ago. Trying to play both sides of the fence as usual.

I suppose he is solidifying his lib base by "coming out" but it doesn't seem like a wise move to me since the majority of the country is clearly against it. I'm not sure how the gay & lesbian vote went last time but I assume they heavily favored Obongo anyway.

So what's his motivation here? Thoughts anyone?

I'm thinking it may help lead to a change I can believe in (Nobama 2012)!
