Based on current polling, and if Romney takes exactly half of the 8 or so too-close-to-call swing states, then its 269 to 269.
My projection is based on the current trends and polls, which has the Northern States voting as an Obama bloc, and the Southern States voting as a Romney bloc, the Farmland States voting as a Romney bloc and the Rust Belt/Welfare/Union States voting as an Obama Bloc.
Commie Left Coast goes to Obama. And, all but one Western State goes to Romney. (..I put New Mexico in Obamas column based on trends, past performance, and current polls)
Romney might actually take New Hampshire, which would break the tie in the right direction, but I decided to lump the otherwise respectable Granite State in with the Northern Bloc...
