Take out the SELF-SERVING "but we wouldnt know until later just how breathtaking the financial crisis had been", and it would have been fine.

Absolutely NO reason for that line except POLITICAL posturing. If "we" didn't know how "breathtaking" it really was until later, then it had NOTHING to do with "those two and a half months" of transition Obama is talking about.

I'm just surprised it wasn't worse, Obama adding, "who I still blame on Bush" .... LOL.

PS: Maybe Bush should have said something about never expecting unemployment to still be above 8% when his portrait was unveiled .... BEEP BEEP.
