I meant that as a compliment. In most writing, formal or not, word economy is almost always the best way from point A to point B. In Mark Twain's words: "Write, let it settle, then go back to hunt down those adjectives and kill them!"
I yack too much. It bores people. Most famous quotes share the common virtue of brevity.
