If you have really been following those House "Oversight Committee" hearings (chaired by one Rep Issa) do you have any reservations about the....focus ? Any concern that Chairman Issa's focus is (almost exclusively) upon what happened AFTER the "shit-hit-the-fan" - the border shoot-out death of Customs and Border Protection Agent Brian Terry ?

Why isn't the focus of that "Oversight Committee" upon such pertinent (I would contend) questions of "why" appointed officials (ATF executives) of two successive administrations - one Republican, one Democrat - sanctioned such "operations" as sensible ("Fast and Furious" was a continuation of "Project Gunrunner" 2005, and its expansion "Operation Wide Receiver" - began 2006) ? Isn't the answer to that question quite obvious, in the current political climate of election year (actually, one might suggest "election year" is no longer a necessary modifier for U.S. political climate) ? L.
