How about Roe v. Wade ? Webster v. Reproductive Health Services; Planned Parenthood v. Casey; Stenberg v. Carhart; Gonzales v. Carhart. All attacking Roe directly, and/or pecking at parts of it. All 5-4 decisons (Webster upheld several restrictions, and modified (i.e., "changed") Roe's trimester framework (Scalia opinion). Ponder, had Bork been confirmed (instead of Kennedy, whom Reagan then nominated in his stead) in 1987 ? Kennedy, himself, purportedly nearly voted the "other way" (which would have, effectively overturned Roe) in Planned Parenthood v. Casey. L.
