I may be a major hipocrite but I would prefer my child not know that his/her teacher is not a porn star. It doesn't really matter how they find out.

I also did drugs in my younger days but would not want my kids to know they were being taught by a known drug addict.

I have been charged (not convicted) with DUI but I wouldn't want my kids to be taught by a known drunk driver.

Call me a pollyanna but I expect better of our teachers. I feel the same way about political figures.

If one doesn't want to be held to a higher standard, don't seek higher office or teacher position.
