Yes, if you watch them unknowingly, I still believe you should be penalized in some way. I don't know about being labeled a predator though. More about that below.
In my opinion, some forms of porn have gotten way out of hand, with way too many children being forced into slavery. I was once shown a website from another country in which a bunch of young women were naked, clothed or half-naked in a supposed bar. They were supposedly there willingly. There were a bunch of burly men there, wearing little but leather harnesses and carrying whips. The women had to submit to all sorts of sexual advances whenever and wherever, right there on camera. Some looked drugged. Whether this is a real place where real women go for fun, I do not know. But it sure looked like slavery to me. I was sickened by it. It's all about profit, and humanity is lost in it.
Having said that, I still believe we all have a moral responsibility to be aware of people who may be using children for sexual profit. If there is any doubt in your mind when viewing a film, turn it off. It's that simple. Leave the website and go elsewhere. Until age can be proven, it's wrong, period. Sorry to take such a hard line, but when real people, especially children, are, or may be, involved, I get riled up.
Also, let me add that the people out there in the media who make a practice of dramatizing our business by implying that we are all forced into it are full of bull hockey. We all know that. Still, there are children out there, locked in rooms, needing to be freed. That is what we all need to watch for, so we do not unwittingly contribute to their suffering.
