I was actually supportive to him when he first appeared on the scene. Others offered some advice as well. None were heeded.
I realized after several similar postings that he is simply a mean-spirited Troll and deserves to be treated as such. I now oblige him. I'm actually a 'live & let live' kind of guy, but I don't suffer fools well in this world or my real life.
You are right about one thing though. Antagonizing him won't make him go away since that is exactly what he's fishing for.
Go ahead and be a sympathiser for him if you want. Maybe you should talk to the ladies who 'blackballed' him first and see what they have to say.
